In recent years the company’s procurement policy has been geared to obtaining timber for sustainable sources. This has resulted in the company achieving all the major independent certifications for the supply of “legal” and “legal and sustainable” timber, including FSC Certification (Forest Chain of Custody). The branches cover an area in excess of 25 acres. Brooks have one of the largest and most modern purpose-built moulding mills to be found in the UK today. Situated at their Danbury site, state-of-the-art machines produce both standard and bespoke high quality mouldings efficiently and at highly competitive prices, through the branch network, to customers, nationwide. Also on that site are kiln-drying facilities with a capacity of 1300m³.
A large transport fleet makes deliveries throughout the U.K. Although each branch specialises in particular products, all Brooks Bros timber products are available through all branches (Maldon, Danbury, Burscough in Lancashire and Nottingham) and expert advice is always, only a phone call or email away. |
